Getting Started
The first step is simple.
Whether you are looking for youth tutoring, adult coaching, a workshop, or help figuring out which option fits, the process begins with a conversation.
The discovery call is free, 20 minutes, and no pressure.
It gives us space to talk through what you are looking for, what Rising Within offers, and whether the fit makes sense before anything is scheduled or paid for.
Who This Page Is For
This page is for:
ESA families interested in Kโ12 tutoring
Private-pay families interested in tutoring
Adults interested in coaching
Families or groups interested in workshops
Parents interested in future shop resources or curriculum support
People who are not sure where to begin
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
That is part of what the first conversation is for.
Step 1: Schedule a Discovery Call
The discovery call is a free, 20-minute conversation.
During the call, we talk through:
What kind of support you are looking for
Whether the support is for a student, adult, family, or group
Your goals, concerns, and scheduling needs
Whether Rising Within is the right fit
What the next step would look like
This is not a sales call.
It is a fit conversation.
You do not need to prepare anything formal. Bring your questions, your situation, and your hopes for what comes next.
Step 2: Choose the Right Path
After the discovery call, we determine which path fits best.
Youth Tutoring
For Kโ12 students needing academic instruction, curriculum support, skill-building, enrichment, or applied learning.
Tutoring may be offered in:
1:1 sessions
Small groups
Co-op or workshop formats
Online throughout Arizona
In person across the White Mountains region
ESA families and private-pay families follow the same service process. ESA families also receive documentation prepared for ClassWallet submission.
Adult Coaching
For adults navigating transition, growth, recovery, rebuilding, goal clarity, faith-integrated reflection, or personal development.
Adult coaching is:
Private pay only
Non-clinical
Available online throughout the U.S.
Available in person regionally
Faith-integrated by default
Available in a secular format by request
Workshops or Custom Groups
For co-ops, micro-schools, churches, organizations, veterans' groups, women's circles, professional teams, or other community groups.
Workshops may be built around tutoring, applied learning, personal development, faith-integrated growth, career and calling, veteran transition, or another approved focus area.
Step 3: Confirm Scheduling
Once the service path is clear, scheduling is confirmed.
This may include:
Session type
Session length
Frequency
Location or online meeting format
Start date
Billing cycle
Service format
Any agreed-upon student, client, or group details
Scheduling is not considered fully confirmed until Rising Within and the parent, client, or group representative have agreed on the service details.
Step 4: Complete Onboarding Forms
After scheduling is confirmed, required onboarding forms will be sent before the first session.
Forms may include:
The service agreement
Intake form
Billing information
Emergency contact details (for youth services)
Non-Clinical Scope Disclosure acknowledgment (for adult coaching clients)
FERPA & COPPA acknowledgment (for student services)
Liability waiver (for outdoor, hands-on, or in-person programming)
Any other service-specific documents
All required forms must be completed before services begin.
This helps protect both the client and Rising Within, confirms expectations in writing, supports accurate billing and documentation, and allows services to begin with clear records in place.
Step 5: Begin Services
Once onboarding is complete, sessions begin on the agreed schedule.
For youth tutoring, sessions are prepared around the student's needs, curriculum, learning profile, and service format.
For adult coaching, sessions are structured around the client's goals, focus area, and current season of life.
For workshops, the plan is prepared around the group's topic, size, setting, and agreed format.
Step 6: Ongoing Communication and Documentation
Rising Within keeps communication clear and documentation organized.
For Youth ESA Families
ESA families receive itemized invoices prepared for ClassWallet submission. Invoices include the required service details, dates of service, student name, subject area, and total amount. Documentation is issued on the agreed billing cycle.
For Youth Private-Pay Families
Private-pay families receive itemized invoices and clear payment instructions. Documentation may be provided on request.
For Adult Coaching Clients
Adult coaching clients receive private-pay invoices, scheduling details, and coaching support within the agreed scope of service.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or mental health treatment.
Brief communication between sessions is available by email or text for time-sensitive questions.
How Payment Works
All invoicing is issued through QuickBooks. Invoices are sent at the time of booking, and payment is due before or at the start of the appointment.
ESA Payment Flow
For ESA families, the process is:
Rising Within issues an itemized invoice through QuickBooks at the time of booking
The invoice is sent to the parent or Account Holder
The parent uploads the invoice to ClassWallet before or at the start of the appointment
The Arizona Department of Education reviews the invoice
Once approved, ClassWallet processes payment to Rising Within
ADE review and ClassWallet payment follow their standard timeline after upload. Parents remain responsible for uploading invoices on time and maintaining ESA program compliance.
Private Pay Payment Options
For private-pay families and adult coaching clients, invoices are issued at the time of booking through QuickBooks. Payment is due before or at the start of the appointment.
Payment options include:
Credit or debit card
Bank transfer (ACH)
Zelle
Cash
Pre-paid session packages and workshops follow their own payment schedules โ see the Adult Pricing page for details.
ESA Families
Rising Within is an approved Arizona ESA vendor under:
Tutoring: Specific Subject
ESA-funded services must remain educational and tied to an approved tutoring purpose.
For ESA families, Rising Within provides tutoring documentation, but families remain responsible for following current ESA rules and submitting purchases correctly through ClassWallet.
Religious or doctrinal instruction is not provided as the primary objective of ESA-funded student sessions.
Families who want explicit faith-based instruction may discuss private-pay options separately.
Private-Pay
Private-pay services are available for both youth tutoring and adult coaching.
Private-pay families and clients receive clear pricing, itemized invoices, and direct payment options.
Adult coaching is private pay only.
Supported pricing is available for families and individuals who need it. See the Youth Pricing or Adult Pricing pages, or reach out confidentially.
Not Sure Which Option Fits?
That is completely fine.
Many people begin with a general idea:
"My child needs help, but I'm not sure what kind."
"I want coaching, but I don't know where to start."
"We want a workshop, but we need help shaping it."
"We are an ESA family and want to make sure we do this correctly."
The discovery call is where we sort that out.
